Kitchen Manager

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our management team. 

As a Kitchen Manager you will lead the kitchen team to prepare, cook, and present our dishes with pride and passion, rising to the challenge of a busy service and ensuring food standards are met and maintained at all times.  

About You:  

  • Experienced in leading a kitchen team in a fast-paced, quick-service environment.   
  • A passion for food and a commitment to high standards in food presentation.   
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and train kitchen teams.   
  • An organized manager with a keen attention to detail, ensuring adherence to health and safety, food hygiene, and compliance procedures.   
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all departments.   
  • Advanced knowledge of stock control, with the ability to analyse stock results and make informed recommendations.   
  • Strong commercial acumen, including an understanding of finance, purchasing, and menu costing.   

How we will keep you busy:   

  • Manage daily kitchen operation - from food preparation to final plate presentation.   
  • Lead the training of new starters in the kitchen as well as assist with on-going training for the venue. 
  • Oversee inventory, minimise wastage, maintain food cost targets without compromising on quality. 
  • Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and high standards of cleanliness.  
  • Attend weekly manager’s meetings and providing an update on all topics relevant to kitchen operations. 
  • Be responsible for a smooth and effective kitchen service and ensure all necessary work is completed prior to the commencement of the service.  
  • Work closely with front of house team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
